Our Winery

Grove Mill was established in 1988 by a group of local wine growers and wine enthusiasts.

The first decade of Grove Mill’s existence was challenging, with a winery transplant, constant expansion and a complete restoration of the nearby wetland.

Our magnificent new winery is located in Marlborough, where the Waihopai Valley runs from the mountains to meet the Wairau Valley. Our 118 hectares of vineyards are surrounded by a stunning natural environment and perfect climatic and soil qualities that ensure the success of our wines.

It is this environment that has driven the company philosophy to produce premium quality wines with minimal environmental impact.
