Winemaker's notes
Pale straw in colour, this is a complex wine that will continue to develop well with age.
Bouquet: Turkish delight, white peach, lychees. Good intensity.
Palate: A dry, full-bodied style. Full mouth-feel with integrated oak adding to weight. Pears & lychees.

Harvesting: Hand picked
Sites: Wairau & Seventeen Valleys
Vinification
Crushed berries chilled and held overnight in a drainer, before gravity fed to our small batch press.
Fermentation was finished in 5 year old barriques, where the wine spent a further 6 months with light lees contact.
Alcohol: 14.1 %
Titratable Acid: 5.6 g/L
Residual Sugar: 3.9 g/L
pH: 3.5

Best suited to be enjoyed with food – particularly rich or spicy dishes; Thai cuisine would work well.
