Riesling 2009
Winemaker's notes
Grove Mill’s Rieslings aim for purity, clarity and texture, showcasing our Marlborough fruit. This vintage is another deliciously aromatic Grove Mill Riesling, made in a vibrant style.
Bouquet: Restrained lemon & lime citrus characters with a lovely honey note. Very fresh and lively.
Palate: A surpringly salty entry, weighty, some complexity and very fine. Some residual sugar to balance the fine acidity.

Vinification
Great Riesling is fairly much made in the vineyard. We destem and crush the fruit at the winery. The grape juice underwent a slow, temperature controlled
ferment in stainless steel, to maximise the wine aromas.
The wine was tasted regularly in order to determine when to stop fermentation for the desired sugar to acid balance.
Alcohol: 12.0%
Titratable Acid: 8.0g/L
Residual Sugar: 14g/L
pH: 3.05
Style: Just off-dry

Cellaring
Excellent drinking as a young wine, Grove Mill Riesling will
continue to impress as it develops over the next 8 years and beyond.
